Someone had to say it

As the title says, someone had to say it......And that is why I have decided to write this blog.  Maybe not so much for a flock of followers though my narcissistic side would LOVE THAT!!!! But for me to freely express and vent.

I don't anticipate this blog to offer any tremendously insightful or philosophical words to live by.  I would expect it to offer my occasionally over the top opinions and observations of anything and everything.   With some recipes I love, websites I've enjoyed, books I have read, places I have visited, quotes I've re-quoted and anything else that seems of interest.

All this, while remaining anonymous. Why anonymity?  I owe it to my friends and family to remain anonymous while having the privilege of blogging about them!!! 

I do have a Facebook where my goofy and outrageous side will seep out into the  status bar. I don't expect to share my Facebook with you.  I expect that part of me will slither into this blog frequently.  My most recent status, involved...... Stink Bugs...and my insanely well preserved grandmother who provides me with daily moments of wisdom that only a 94 year old human could provide.  I cannot wait to share that insight!

I may rant and rave about the absurd and almost comical behavior of family members who just don't get that life is not as complicated as they want to make it.  

I will write one thing about politics and here it is:

I vote, and if you really truly believe in the candidate and their politics, then you should vote too.  No matter what your neighbor, mother, friend, co-worker, or I think.  I may ask you about your views because I am curious, not because I want to debate you or tell you that you are wrong.

I will write one thing about religion and here it is: 

I am a Christian and I believe in God.  If you don't believe in God, that's OK, I do not judge and will not hold it against you.  I may ask you about your religious views because I am curious, not because I want to debate you or trying to convert you.

I will write about happiness, love, joyous moments, and good news! And I will likely write about pain, sorrow, grief and loss.

I do expect to approach topics like friendship bracelets and summer camp (odd right?), understanding teenagers (now that IS odd).... and why oh why can I love the love of my life in the morning, but by 3 or 4 pm....I have moved from agitated.... to a pre-murderous state.

It is my hope to entertain you, not to offend you.  It my hope to give you pause to think, occasion to reflect and a chance to laugh.
